Flinders Ranges
A trip to Bendleby & beyond with Harry Fisher, Endak Hudson & Boe Langford.
Four blokes that hate a beer join forces and explore the Flinders Ranges for a week. Harry Fisher, some may know him as Fire to Fork had never been to the Flinders and since he was coming across to Adelaide for the 4WD & Adventure show, there was no better time to show him around one of my favourite places in Australia.
We kicked off the trip with a couple days camping and exploring the Bendleby Ranges in the lower part of the Flinders. Isolated camps, fun 4wd tracks and extraordinary views every way you looked. It was great to get back to a place where camping and 4wding all started for me as a little tacker.
From there we headed up to Parachilna Gorge which is one of my favourite sections of the Flinders Ranges. Free camping galore, more incredible views and sunsets and sunrises like no other. Before getting into camp we stopped in at the Prairie Hotel and enjoyed a range of there meals, which was a first for me.
From here, we did a lot of sitting around camp and eating horrible food cooked on the fire by Harry, talked more shit and drank a beer or two.
